Can anyone recommend an endocrinologist for thyroid (or, in my case, lack of thyroid) issues? Preferably one who listens to the patient and conveys a sense of empathy and concern? I'm in Simpsonville but I'm more than willing to travel for good care. Thanks.
My wife has been looking for one also we found one in Travelers Rest but the don't take insurance she is going to try Dr. Sarmento over off of Tanner Rd in Greenville. We meet with her tomorrow.
I see Dr. Bruch in greenville. He is ok, I came from florida seeing an awesome thyroidologist (only 30 in the us). He does listen, he seems concerned but not a cozy type. I am happy with the treatment. I have seen him 2yrs now. I have had hashimotos thyroiditis for 13yrs now. I have been through many drs. It is very hard. I hope you find one that fits you. I would try him. I am not looking for a new dr. That is a good sign!
