I was wondering who you think has the best fried chicken. ?

It can be in Greenville or surrounding counties . Also maybe you love their side dishes like mashed potatoes ...

Hmm.... Pizza - I gotcha covered. Fried chicken..... Let me think... Other than the usual suspects (Churche's KFC, even Publix - all of which I love) - Fried Green Tomatoes near Haywood Mall is good. Years ago (when I worked downtown), I LOVED the fried chicken at the Blue Ridge Brewery on Main St.
That's about all I can think of.

Best side dish HAS to go to Mutt's BBQ (multiple locations - one in Mauldin that I can think of) Sweet Potato Crunch. YESSSAH!!!!

I'm gonna get killed for saying this but, Golden Coral has the best fried chicken; the best.

Although I haven't eaten it (other than fried chicken fingers) in several years and know it is very unhealthy, Spinx actually had delicious fried chicken back then.

I have heard more than one person say nearly the same.

Publix is my go to chicken place. I believe two hours is the longest they allow chicken to sit in the warmer. Always spiced just right.
I do not do buffetts but I did hear a friend of mine say the same thing about Golden Corral.

I love Bojangles fried chicken. They have hot sauce, sweet tea, biscuits, and nice sides like mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese. It's horrible for my health so I had to stop eating it, but I miss that place sometimes.

Chik-fil-a has yummy fried chicken sandwiches (also off my list) and Zaxby's has great fried chicken fingers slathered in hot sauce and ranch dressing. If you're healthy enough or young enough to enjoy, those are so good.

You're not gonna get killed because I think GC DOES have the best fried chicken. I don't really like that place, but every so often I'll go there for breakfast and get their Fried Chicken and made to order Waffles. Not too bad with some fresh fruit and juice.

Holden's Ranch on Southport Rd./295-Bypass in Spartanburg. Real fork-in-the-road type place that's popular with locals. Best fried chicken is served every Tuesday night. The mac and cheese is the best side. They are also known around town for their chicken stew, which can be done as a side too.

+1 on the sweet potato crunch, SOOO good. Only problem (not really a problem) is that it's more butter and brown sugar than sweet potato!
