My youngest son lives with me and he spoiled me rotten. He bought us Subway for dinner (my choice!) My oldest daughter called and we talked for a long time. The two middle ones chose not to call or text or email. I'm not surprised. They were in cahoots with the embezzling fiasco last summer and the rest of us haven't heard a word from them in a year. All in all, though, it was a really nice Mother's Day and my favorite won Survivor!!! So, all is well with my world for now.

I'm over the sadness that my daughter didn't call but she probably still has a lot on her plate over the suicide of her husband. C'est la vie. I'll be here if or when.

Tami...I hope you hear from your daughter before too long...I did okay on Mother's Day. (By myself.)...I think I've climbed-up to a different level and stage in my grief but who knows?...I could "fall to pieces" tomorrow and have to climb "back-up!"...Nothing is "for sure" quite yet!...Both my sons' birthdays are coming-up within the next few days...Thanks to you (and everyone) for your caring Mother's Day posts!.. Mother's Day is "behind" us now. (For this year anyway!)

You know, I did a lot better than I expected to on Mother's Day. I think it was because I was mentally prepared for it. Ironically, Monday, the day after, was a lot worse. I guess it caught up with me....
