So happy, CA, you each took the chance and made this happen. It's probably not that your neighbors and friends are so ineept, they just aren't Smilin

I did little to nothing getting you both there, except telling you I felt like you needed to go to a Casino.

Wow, the new memories and get together you two can plan. It's wonderful

No, Karen and Dave left after dinner Tuesday, and went back to Green Valley where they're staying. Today, they are in Eloy visiting Dave's aunt and uncle, and tomorrow (Friday) they'll stop in for an early dinner here as they're checking out Saddlebrooke near Oracle. They might become snowbird neighbors!! Then Saturday, they head back to Denver getting in Sunday afternoon.

My friends from the UK arrived late tonight, and we'll get together Saturday and exchange gifts, so Christmas has definitely been a week long affair!!! It's been very soul satisfying, honestly, the first enjoyable Christmas in four years. Bob's and my last holiday season in 2008 was here, and we had Kellie and her family for Thanksgiving as they were leaving for their four year assignment in Hungary a couple of weeks later; and then Karen and Dave came down for Christmas. Until this year, we haven't had a family holiday, so this year was truly a spirit lifting experience.
Marcy...I'm so happy that you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends this year. YEA!...Thanks for being happy for me and Smilin! Thanks to everyone!! And Happy New Year!

MSR...Nobody around here really understands how my memories "kick-in.".. Smilin understands because the same thing happens to her. And what a coincidence...We both went to the same casino over and over again. It was our favorite casino when our loved ones were alive...Do you have plans for New Year's eve or day? I'm going to see my "TV lover friends." It will be nice to spend time with them. But I wish I was spending New Years with Smilin! Hopefully we can get together again soon...Happy New Year! Thanks for your caring and support!!
