We had a nice time--children are always so entertaining! The church served finger foods after the play so we enjoyed that. Not sure why but I was very anxious about even going--I haven't gone out at night with a man so I think it was just something different even though we have gone to breakfast several times. My friend brought me home and I was in bed by 9pm. Was awake by 4:30am--I think the rain woke me up.
Today it is suppose to stay in the 30's and rain...then some clearing later on.
Have a blessed day everyone!

Grand children are taken care of for Christmas! I sent the ones in CA $$ and a card and the ones here are getting projects from Hobby Lobby! That should keep both the parents and kiddos busy for awhile! Now to wrap them.....

Thank you Dude--I just had to do a little something for them. It wasn't much but enough to let them know I am always thinking about them all!
Have a blessed day everyone!

My application to test for the Big Exam has been accepted! I now have to call and pick a date and time to test. I need to figure out what would work best in order to be actually ready to take and pass it. Challenge!

Well it's been a while since I wandered over into this section, kind of miss this place, the pleasantness of everyday conversations and happenings. Today here in the Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains it started out at 11 degrees with a lot of frost all over everything, Pass couple of days we've had some snow, not too much though just a couple of inches, just enough to make it look pretty. I'm kind of looking forward to the holidays, my wife and I will be going out for dinner on Christmas Day, don't do too much cooking for the holidays much now, would rather go out to a decent restaurant that we know of where we know the owners and get great service and don't have to clean up afterwards...lol.... Just a little bit of an update on the situation with my prostate cancer, went for a consultation with a highly respected Dr. in Wheeling, West Virginia, at the Wheeling Medical Center recently and it seems as though the situation may not be as bad as they thought but still bad enough to possibly require either the radiation seeds or straight out radiation, I'll know more after January 17 when I have to go back for a full examination and a more in depth biopsy of the prostate. I've been keeping myself busy in my woodshop doing some remodeling and some rearranging of the tools and equipment, needed more floor space. Now that that's done, I've got a few projects in mind that I want to work on and I'll start right after the first of the year. I thought I'd stop in here and wish everybody a Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Winter Solstice.May the blessings of the New Year and the Creator be with y'all. Osiyo
