What area of Tennessee?
My girlfriend and her husband live in Johnson City they love it. Originally from PA but moved from Lampasas Tx.

She's not as happy with healthcare amazingly she said Texas was better.

Go on your trip! Live!

Good Morning Friends

I hope that you all have a good day.

Yesterday was our monthly pot luck at my Friends Meeting. It is nice to stay and share food and get to know folks better.
I took in a Shepherds' Pie (or as its known in Quebec :"Pate Chinois". People seemed to enjoy it; the lasagna size pan was empty.

Sounds lovely elston!
Looks like more wicked storms heading this way--I am going to mow the dogs yard this morning if I can beat this storm. The man that does my yard has not been able to get back but said he'd be here this week. I sure hope so as my grass is very high! Great for fleas and ticks!! Ugh.
I was coming home from work last night and decided not to stop to get something to eat--didn't have any cash and didn't want to use my ATM any more then necessary and I do have some frozen items I could make not to mention I wanted to get home. As I passed my neighbors house, the one with ALS, his wife waved me to come in so I stopped and they had a dinner packed for me. It was a mix of left overs from their dinner. Talk about being blessed! Sunday nights are hard because I always want to get home asap to walk the dogs since they eat dinner early and I don't have time to walk them before I leave to work.
I hope today proves to be blessed for everyone!

Cyn......that was so nice of your neighbors to pack up some food and it was so timely.....on a night when you "needed" a supper.

I hope the storms are too bad in your neck of the woods. I did see something about stormy weather headed to your direction.

Survived those wicked storms--and they were wicked! Now another storm is due tomorrow!! I got the dogs yard mowed and my neighbor was able to get most of my lawn mowed before the rain started. It looks so much better! Hopefully it will keep the fleas and ticks down too.
I hope everyone has a blessed day!

Smile! I'm working on that elston!
I'm trying to get all the information done on the worksheet the financial adviser sent me--oh what fun! I think I just try to hide my head in the sand for the most part and just pay my bills the best I can but now I have to write it all down and see the reality of it all. I sure hope she has some good ideas. Last year I was still selling items from the shop but now most of that is gone and I'm depending on SS and my 3 days at work. Many people have it much worse so I just have to stay positive!

Wow-the job in eastern Washington is moving along well. The HR lady just told me this; "I am highly anticipating this opportunity for you." And I'm also going after another job in Tucson, AZ. We love Tucson and it's sun, however, the pay range for the eastern Washington job is probably going to come in about $5 an hour more for pay. About an hour and a half north of Spokane. So I'm busy setting up Skype tutoring so I can re-take and pass that big 'ole Board Exam, and also I'm doing our taxes and working 45-50 hours a week until I find another job.

Busy! Hope you're all hanging in there - I send my love out to all of you!
