Good morning everyone!
Another day...I am taking my friend who is here to visit The Mary Martha Center where I go for therapy. I need to make an appointment while I am there. I need to talk to my therapist asap with all that is going on. Then tonight we are going out to dinner with my friend that is my neighbors father. He wants to show his appreciation for my girlfriend coming to be with me through this surgery. I am so blessed. I do have some very good friends. We are on the countdown now for returning to work and my girlfriend going home. Looks like we will be pretty busy for the next few days!
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Let's remember too that loss can include people still alive, but far from us at the moment. If you are used to be around family, and then must be far away from them, it's like loss, though not permanent.

Thank you for adding that Thoreau; separation and loss have a lot in common. I am guessing that you are missing someone or some ones right now. I am sorry.

Grief in this thread covers all kinds of losses. Even our fur-babies, divorce and as Thoreau mentioned people living far away. Many of us have had a combination of losses. I too am sorry if you are missing someone Thoreau.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

I have been thinking about missing someone.....due to distance or relationship troubles or military service or whatever other reasons contributed to the "loss".
