cyn glad you are finding comfort, relief and purpose for you near you and I agree with others don't let a church guilt you into doing something you are not ready for. They mean well I'm sure but some churches are wanting volunteers for so much.
Glad others are sharing their journey too so we all see there is no one size fits all when it comes to grieving.
Went to the post office with 3 packages--the girl says the weights on all are off and I own on each--and a couple was a lot because it went from first class to Priority for and ounce....I am always so right on in fact I usually give them some just to cover myself. One package I had to cut all up and try to lighten it with less packing and then try to fix where I had opened it--what a mess. Hope it still l gets to the customer okay. But if I took it all home I loose the money for postage because it was on my computer. So I get home check my scale first thing and it's perfect--call the post office and she said that in fact their scale is weighting wrong. Maybe they can give me a refund. I'm going to take a nap! Some days are just better spent in bed!
But the Lord did give me the most beautiful dark red sunset tonight with a few scattered clouds to add some design--lovely. He is such an amazing artist!
The girl that does my hair is quite an artist herself--it's in her blood. He brother is a minister and sells paintings for thousands of dollars--lovely paintings. He lives in Mich. Anyhow she asked if I might be interested in finding galleries in NC that might be interested in showing her work. This isn't right now but just a fleeting idea. Sounds interesting. I don't know a lot about art but I could learn!
After yesterdays problems with the Post Office and just it being "one of those days" --just lonely. I worked all day but didn't have my heart in it at all. I know I shouldn't but I'm going to take a relaxer and go to bed. I just feel like I need to escape today. This to shall pass. Tomorrow is Sunday and I love my Sunday school group..church is good and the grief session can't hurt it seems. So night to all and have wonderful dreams!
As I thought--woke up at 3am and just could not go back to sleep but did rest and did a lot of thinking. Had more very strange dreams/nightmares. I suppose a lot of those are bound to happen right now. The sky is blue the weather is suppose to be lovely and I'm about ready to take off to church. BuBu has been feeling poorly with the cold weather but today he came out of his house with his tail wagging. That is a start to a good day for me!
