Thanks for the update, elston.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
We have a crew of workers here this morning putting in a concrete pad for a new kennel we are building.
All types of excitement and the dogs are going CRAZY

Sounds wonderful Molly!
Got a FB message my daughters little dog got his wings last night... He was 10 years old but not sure what happened. All I know is she said the loss of their fur-baby was bad but watching her 2 children cry their eyes out was the worst!

Whew! Thankfully. I was clenching my jaw for you. I'm sure that helped.

Good morning all!
I have a doctor appointment with my psychiatrist this morning. Need to have her help me cut back on my medications since I don't think the one is working much at all! No need to take it if it doesn't do anything!
I work tomorrow night. Not sure about next weeks schedule yet.......
Good to hear things are going well for you elston!
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

But it is obviously a deep and painful procedure in and of itself. I have to take three doses of strong pain medication in advance....starting at 11:30 this morning. I won't be able to drive myself. The pharmacist said it is a controlled drug. I also have to take a strong antibiotic med, before and after the procedure. I am a little scared....but there is no turning back....and my guy will drive me and be with me this afternoon if I need him.
I had mine on Wednesday, Elston. I had the nerve blocker right before the operation. I won’t tell you it’s a walk in the park, but I’m managing better today that yesterday. Take your meds on time (every 4 hours) and use the chiller, I hope they give you, on your knee almost all the time.

Did you have the operation or the Coolief procedure on Wednesday gentlearts? It sounds like the operation. They did the Coolief now and the surgery is scheduled for 10/5....because sometimes it takes awhile for the coolief to take full effect and it lasts almost a year. So they say. My son had the chiller thing when he had shoulder surgery.....said it really helped.

Ok, I guess it is something different. I had some kind of nerve block, guided by ultrasound, on the leg. It’s supposed to be for pain relief after surgery, I think. Then I had the knee replacement with a spinal, and just light anesthesia. Anyway, I’m hurtin for certain, but better today than yesterday.
