Personally, I enjoy the beach more in fall and winter than I do in summer.....but warm clothes are important part of that experience.

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes--sadly it was not meant to be. We camen home early--yesterday. My friend was ill and was told before we left on Monday he'd be needing his Gallbladder removed on Monday. It was not much fun knowing that.then it rained the whole time and there was construction going on most of the day throughout the motel Just real bad timing.
I've decided home is good and I missed my kitties so I'll probably be here most of the time now!! Although I will go to mu sons on Thursday . Hope everyone has a blessed day!

"I've decided home is good and I missed my kitties" = Sometimes events conspire in a way that make us recognize that what is valuable and meaningful is closer to us than we have realized. I'm sorry your trip was a bust; I'm glad that you were able to use that disaster to gain insight into what has meaning for you personally and gives you joy.
