Thanks. Thought to ask. I guess I will wait a bit.
Antique and War era firearms are always collectable. I would figure out their price and list them on Gunbroker.com and ship then through your local FFL. If I didn't have to many irons in the fire, I would ask for a list my self.
as stated, don't sell to a gun dealer. he will offer you 30% to 40% of true value but that he is a 'LICENSE DEALER'. So what. anyone can buy a pistol with a purchase permit or a long gun with a firearms I.D. card.
If you want to sell check out gun sites selling used firearms as with:
gunbroker.com gunsamerica.com gunsinternational.com, etc, etc.
You can look up your gun to see the market asking price. Then you can offer the piece a few buck cheeper (takes care of competion).
Some weapons that rarely drop in price, depending on condition, are:
1903A3 or A4 rifles
garand rifles
45 military pistols
luger pistols
and old colt single action pistols.
if I have not covered this point well enough hit me up with a question.
NO CHARGE. Happy New Years one and all.
Above all, post pics with full discriptions. Buyers don't buy a pig in a poke.......
