I could have put my firearm in my car safe, but I was prepared to leave and just voice my complaints at the entrance. So I went to girl up front and said "We would like to eat here but I have a problem - you have a sign on the front preventing legal gun carriers to eat here". I was prepared to talk to her manager. She seemed confused and said she never even seen the sign before and told me don't worry about it and it was OK.
So we ate and enjoyed our dinner, with my XD behind my right hip. Still it irks me. Apparantly, from what I had read this morning it is a corporate policy. I may stay away on principle in the future (the resteraunt personally exempting me or not), and I would advise everyone to do the same.

about the same thing happened near where I live at BWW. told the hostess about their sign and they didnt even know a sign was there, she went out and looked at the sign and it was a sign posted by someone not associated with BWW. looks like some dont want legal guns into the eating establishments.
she did take the sign down.
on the bottom of the sign in small print was "brady campaign against firearms" on it.
go figure.
