The G-34 AND G-35 are very accurate at long range. I've even seen guys hit pop cans at 100 yards with them before. Just a bit big to carry....it's quite possible though. I've done it. I stuck on a set of Meprolite night sights on mine.

Rested of course. You ain't gonna hit any pop cans off hand at 100 yards.

Default What is the most accurate handgun that you own (that isn't a .22LR)?

No you aren't, and using open sights it isn't a hit for every shot either. All of the Contender and Encore handguns I use have scopes on them, with the exception of a 45/410 and one of the short 223 barrels. Good sights and good triggers are a must for the longer shots.

The hits I saw were done with Dawson sights I believe. The precision aftermarket sights for GLOCKs with skinny front blades.

That's a long slide GLOCK with a long barrel. It also comes with a lighter more crisp trigger straight from the factory. It's amazing just 'what' one can do when compared to a G17 or G22 shooting right next to one.

Add those skateboard tape decals on the grip......It's a bullseye eatin' machine.

Only high end 1911s can beat one from my own experiences.

I found this....it's a 5 - step process to determine your correct sight heights at long rang pistol shooting.

Very informative for long range shooters and accuracy minded individuals.

Yup, but the .38 rounds in the GP100 don't recoil as bad.

I would say the most accurate gun I shoot is my custom built Fusion Scout 1911 longslide in 10mm. Followed by my semi custom Colt Delta Elite 1911, then a S&W 686 6" All of the above are WAY better guns than my skill level. I'd like to see them in the hands of someone that is really good.

.38 S&W police special at 10 -15 feet. Two shots on a 6" pie plate in 1.5 sec. good enough.
