Is this job creation? 300 million guns, mostly unregistered. That should keep them busy for ohhhhh 200 years?

I paid 650 for my Colt AR Match Target and for the last one I built a Spikes lower with Stag upper left hand 725. 400 for my Pac West Arms I built many years ago. I still have all three and two AKs. Both are chicom Norinco one an under folder. I paid 400 for one and 1200 for the under folder. The Chicom AKs have went up because of the non import on them. I just got done looking on line and its a mad house out there as far as ammo is going. I see it as high as a buck a round for 223. Good gawd thats crazy. I see every gun vendor out of stock on all AR variants. I don't think I have ever seen it this bad.

I think a lot of people know that this may be the time that some guns are made illegal. I also just bought a Glock 26 I have about 400 into. I bought several of the 33rd mags a while back. Its crazy and I will not even think of going to a gun show. gun show vendors are like Arabs at a gas station during a crisis. Your going to pay 8 bucks a gallon.

It was a DCM gun. My brother has over 40 Trophy M1 Garands and he has 5 M1 D's. You can bet you won't pry any of those loose for under $1500 for the Trophy Guns and over $4000 for the d's.

$350 for a Colt HBAR AR15 pre-ban back in 1989-ish..

$275 for a Glock SF21 .45 cal. Great deal purchased only 5 years ago.

$250 or less for a Ruger MKII target .22 bought maybe 15 years ago.

Everything else is family heirlooms= priceless. Original Colt 1911 issued in WWI and carried by both my wife's Grandfather in WWI and father in WWII. My dads semi Remington 20ga shotgun and 12ga Browning (Belgium). A few other that shall remain nameless.

However I just forked over $500 clams for a custom .338 Win Mag Encore barrel with integral brake (on/off style), fluted and in fantastic shape. Hardly a semi-auto, but one nice addition to the Encore frame...

I do recall most privately owned firearms, including very expensive double rifles & engraved shotguns, simply being ordered confiscated in merry old England a few years back, (as well as Australia perhaps?) and you were "invited" to turn yours in to the RCMP in Canada back a few decades ago, no compensation. After all, "if it will save the life of just one child...!"

(but that PC-correct idea must then also cover swimming pools, baseball bats, jump ropes, and so on. Oh my....)

I bought a WW2 Walther P38 in great shape at a pawn shop in '68 for $85. Today it would sell for about $500.
