Hello all. So, I was in a tactical store today that is near another store I needed to go to and I thought I would go in and take a peek. I had been there once before and they have since remodeled and added more things.

Anyway, there were tons of people in there and most where there to buy guns.

I, on the other hand, was there to ask about if they knew of a place who held a safety class, etc. I saw a bunch of different targets that you could buy there. There was a wild boar and a couple of other gnarly looking animal ones but the one that caught my eye was the ZOMBIE ones!!!!

They come 8 to a pack, are a pretty good size, and 'bleed' out upon impact.

I thought it was pretty neat and will probably be doing some shooting over the holiday and grabbed a pack at $12.50 for my bf for Christmas. Yes, I know I wanted them for myself.

What else says Merry Christmas like killing zombies????

If you're looking for inexpensive reactive targets, the following work well:
- empty 1, 2, and 3 liter plastic bottles filled with water,
- saltine crackers,
- balloons, which can be challenging if on a long(ish) string on a windy day.

The zombie targets are fun. Sometimes I print my own targets. Nothing brings a smile to my face like punching a bunch of bullet holes into the logo of the Oakland Raiders (big Broncos fan here). I also buy the plain silhouette targets for my wife as we are fine tuning her shooting.

I like dancing cans. Nothing gives me more pleasure than choosing a shot on a can and making it dance around.

Of course all that is moot if I shoot the 12ga or the .45/70. It sorta splays open and dies when hit with those rounds, lol.

Those sound good, but the crackers seem challenging for me. I am pretty new to shooting and I do not have a very steady hand yet.

I have been using those zombie targets for a while now. I think they are great. Not as many comments as I thought, but it could be that people are disturbed by a 61 year old shooting at zombies.

Oh that's funny. I would shoot with a 61 year shooting at zombies!

I like raw eggs when outside. Nice and white so you can see, fairly small and they explode when hit.
