While I'm not an expert on current gun offerings for sale today I see no "old school" guns on this list.....

What is old school to you?

The AR-15 a civilian rifle has been around for 56 years.

Old school to me is pure hunting guns not anything militarized in shape, function or appearance.

That is a stupid comment as stated before, The AR15 is a CIVILIAN rifle that was adapted to create the M16 a MILITARY rifle.

Is my .300 Weatherby magnum cal that can reach to almost a mile to kill something accurately a military sniper rifle?

I look at it as a list of "Must buy soon", firearms. If not purchase, at least look into as I wonder why I don't already have those?

If you've got the funds to purchase such a massive amount of firearms, then I envy you... but it's none of my business whether you do or not. The federal government might wanna know what you're doing, though.

I've got an AR, it just needs to be finished... got a handgun with standard capacity magazines that hold more than ten rounds, got a bolt action... just need a shotgun. The problem is that the shotgun I want would be considered one o'them "assault weapons" as well. If government agencies use 'em, why can't I?
