Yes. Before I consider a gun suitable for carry it needs to fire at least 500 rds of every kind of ammo I can fine AND 100 rds of my carry ammo without a single failure.

I carry Critical Duty or Defense in everything and honestly I've never ad an issue in anything but a Taurus.

Theroretically, a gun should cycle anything you put in it, however, I have handguns that will cycle ball ammo and not wad or semi was cutter's. Same when it comes to the Hydrashock's. I would prefer to know before hand if my gun is going to go bang, more than once, before I encounter a bad guy.
