1 .22 rifle (varmints, small game, plinking)
1 bolt action centerfire rifle (hunting)
1 AR-15 (self defense, plinking)

That would be a bare minimum. You are not prepared with any less.

Picked up a new mousegun from Bud's last week, a Kahr CT380 7+1, 11 ounces - just a tad bit bigger in length & height than my Ruger LCP, but thinner:
