Good tip. Any firearm pictures that I have ever posted have the serial number scrambled or removed. I never did trust "the cloud". That is just a fancy term for "someone else's computer".

So....how does one document their firearms? I like to snap a pic of the serial, but take a pic on a smart phone nowadays and it's almost automatically backed up to the cloud.

You can turn off the cloud backup. That way your pictures belong to you, not the Chinese
