Gun Tests Magazine did a review of this model, they considered it to be good, particularly considering the price. Will it hang with an S&W M41, a Colt Woodsman Target or Officer's Model revolver? Probably not. Will it be a decent plinker and way better than no gat at all when out hiking around or whatever? Probably so.

SA revolvers tend to be painfully slow on the reload, and this model with no ejector rod under the barrel is worse than average, so consider it an answer to problems that can be handled with 6 or fewer rounds.

For the price and if you need a tackle box pistol- this would fit the bill well.

It won't get used much, but I just wanted one.

That’s quite a good deal.
We just went to happy hour at a TexMex restaurant -ordered 1 large frozen ‘Rita, 1 Mexican martini, 1 order of fajita nachos, and one combination plate (1 beef taco, 2 beef enchiladas, rice & beans) for $55 plus $15 tip.

I’d rather have the Heritage at that price.

Personally, I think "Just because I wanted it" is the best reason to buy a gun. But I guess most collectors with around 75 guns or so would say that.

Something like the Heritage is so cheap but still a decent gat, that it's hard to say no to it.
