They were up to as high as $75 a thousand for awhile. This place is the cheapest around. They beat Midway USA even. Primers | Reloading Supplies

$29 a thousand for Winchester is a great buy today in 2015. I'd always buy at least a 'sleeve' (5,000) when anyone ordered to save shipping costs. Better yet is to max out your UPS Hazmat weight (powder+primers) in one box 70 POUNDS. That way you only get charged for one fee.

You can beat Midways prices at most any gunshop around here now. No hazmat, no freight, just tax. Supplies are most anything you want, quantities are most any amount you can afford. The only shortage around here is still 22 LR but it is available if you hit the gunshops at the right time. Costs are about what it was before the crunch with the likes of Federal Game Shok 22 LR at $28.00 a brick.

We've got a ton of gun shops within a 40 mile radius. The largest in the whole State is 20 miles away. Only one shop sells reloading supplies and he's far from cheap. You'll pay at least $35+tax per 1000 for primers there. I let the guys who don't know any better buy their stuff there.

Powder valley has primers, powder is still hard to find. I bought two pounds of IMR 3198 for 223 as it was all I could find. Not a bad price at 22 bucks a pound. I also bought 2k more small rifle primers. Tried to get all that I needed because the shipping cost of hazmat.
