True it could be an underlying problem but a dermatologist want help with that trust me. And if there was all cure don't you think there wouldn't be expensive rugs for peoples heads out there. Or rather Tupay's. With diet if everyone would do it there wouldn't be so much obesity.

Other reason can be over styling, hats that yank the hair out at the roots if worn to tight and long. ect

Silica is good for balding/hair, nails, teeth and skin.

The foods that contain most silica include cereals, especially oats and rice, which is why Asians tend to have the healthiest and strongest hair. Others are cucumbers, asparagus, lettuce, cabbage, onions, potatoes skin, Bean sprouts and sunflower seeds. Fruits include strawberries, and if you eat a diet rich in these various foods, then you should have a good natural intake. Some say water is a good source some say yes it has silica but not a good source. I say combined with the above should be taken into consideration.
Yes Beer also has it but it's not a good source some say yes it is some say no. Most say it takes to much beer to get your intake of silica.

I guess that is why I have always heard rinsing your hair with beer is very good for you. They make shampoo with Organic silica just poor beer over your hair as a rinse once it dries you don't smell beer at all.

Ive noticed that too, Asians and Hispanics always seem to have the fullest, thickest hair. Its gotta be in their daily diets.
