I have been getting my hair cut and colored at a school for the last three times and I'm really happy I have a student cut and color my hair for $30 which means I save at least $50 and they do a great job so I really suggest the idea of a school to anybody

Plus you've got experienced instructors there on hand to help the students if needed. I went to a local cosmetology school for the mani and pedi and the place was bustling!

Absolutely. When I was a broke college student, we used to always go to the Aveda Institute...fancy, good-smelling products, and complimentary hand and scalp massage at a massively discounted rate. Plus, like at most training institutes, the students have instructors checking in and approving what they're doing. It's a total deal.
