I've decided to grow out my hair again for the first time in over 4 years. Right now, its about 2.5 inches long. First time I did it, I relaxed it myself with Target products and dyed it...pretty much killed it before it got really long. I still grew it out to about 10 inches but most of it was dead. My hair is starting to get wavy which I'm surprised has taken this long. I'm able to spend more money on my hair this time around and don't want to kill my hair before it gets long.

Anywho, how long does my hair need to be to get this done? Would it work on a male? Any price range for shorter hair? I don't want my hair to be very long, probably 8 inches tops.

I get to wear a hat to work so I can hide my hair most of the week but when I'm out and about, I can't always wear a hat and I don't like how my hair gets wavy.

Yeh it would work. They just put stuff in your hair and run a flat iron through it. What did you try from target? The process + color too soon is probably what killed you hair.

Relaxer...hmmm, the stuff for black chicks. I don't think I did it right and dying it didn't help. Oh yea, I also bleached it as well. I really did a number on it, lol.

LOL...omg....you are lucky you didnt cause some real baldness. If you are not black or don't have that exact type of hair that stuff is usually too harsh...but the bleach dye combo follow up...dear lord. LOL

I saw this but havent tried it:
Organix ® Beauty. Pure & Simple

Its a drugstore thing and probably going to be cheaper. You need a flat iron though but you can find cheap ones now. You really only need expensive ones if you actually use it a lot on your hair.
