no change in hair products or treatment but lately finding little blisters. I don't think it itches but I do find myself messing with my head more. nobody can see anything there- no bugs or anything and no outbreak on any other part of my body. Ideas?

I don't know but I've had similar things happen when my head gets really sweaty (Dallas summers) and then itchy and I scratch it. Just throwing out an idea.

For me, I get those when I start either using more hairspray or gel with alcohol on my hair, or if I'm eating too much wheat. If it's wheat-related, I get pimples on my face as well. A few days without either and it clears up for me.

can't think of any diet changes either. i know i need to keep my hands out of my hair but it is hard to resist feeling if anymore have popped up. with cooler weather coming soon maybe it will clear up. hate to go to doctor for such a minor thing but it is a nuisance more than a medical problem. I can't help but think of my very proper southern mother who cautioned "A lady never touches her hair or her face in public."

If I have product build-up on my scalp, certain spots get irritated. They sometimes feel like little blisters. A good gentle massage with a clarifying shampoo clears it up.

Go to a derm for skin check. Skin cancer can happen on the scalp. Its probably just a reaction to a product but better safe than sorry. You can develop allergies to products that you did not react to before.

Itchy Bumps on Scalp

You may need medication if its not just an allergic reaction it goes over all that in the link with possible causes.
