Describing this hair style? (cut, product, haircut, stylist)

I feel I need to describe the style with words as well as a picture when I go for a cut. I used to have something very much like this, maybe not as fringed, but someone chopped it up into thick chunks so all the fringy flippy-ness is gone and the structure of the cut was destroyed. Is there a name for this or a good description?

That picture is difficult to guess what the hairstyle would actually look like. It is very stylized and posed. I find that when I am looking for a cut a lot of pictures are like this so that the hairstylist has to "guess" what you want out of the cut. This looks like it may be a razor haircut and if you search you may find a better representation of what you are looking for. Pinterest has a lot of haircut images that may be of help to you.
