Does this price for haircut/highlight/color seem expensive?

As a Licensed Hairdresser, no one warrants getting such outrageous prices for hair cuts/color. I have paid $110.00 + 20% tip in both NC, Key West, Fl. and NJ for cut, color & high lights myself. All the Stylists I have gone to work in high end salons and are excellent & attend ongoing performance classes every year.

When I see prices that have been mentioned I think that people just want to impress others by mentioning the name of a particular Salon they go to. Personally, I don't care how much money you have, spending hundreds of dollars for cuts and color is a total waste of money. Being a H/D I know how much the products costs & yes, you are paying for our years in school and experience, but to pay such outrageous prices is just silly In my Professional opinion.

Gee, I think that women that take the time to post and ask questions about prices aren't looking to impress others with how much they've spent. I don't get your attitude and labeling us as silly--especially when you claim you're in the business....

Cost depends so much on geography so I think that accounts for so much of the variance in what were paying. I think it's interesting to see what the going rates are in different areas and it's interesting to read what other women have posted. Were military and I know how prices fluctuate depending where you live. I don't think for a minute that any one here was trying to "impress" us all with the price tag to get their hair done.

I paid $165 without tip for cut and partial highlights. My hair is very long and thick though.

I got my hair color lifted then colored and highlighted as well as a about 18 inches cut off and a stacked hair style for $100 here in hot springs Arkansas

I pay $90.00 plus a tip! WOW, I am getting a great deal from summer expressions here in Morro Bay and Summer is such an artist!
