Yes, Clairol USED to make some gray dyes--which were semi-permanent and went out after a few washings--but I want to dye my hair silver gray permanently and cover the snowy white.
Is there anyone on the board who knows how to do that?
And how does Jay Manuel of America's Next Top Model do it? I bet he uses Manic Panic or something....or am I wrong? His looks like a brush in coloring to me.

I remember it was called Silk and Silver, and I would use it if they still made it.

I used to use Wella Permanent Toner from Sally's. I used to bleach my hair almost white and use a purple toner afterwards... if I left it on too long it would turn greyish.
