No it doesnt. Infact it does those things less than ever than when I used shampoo. Your hair naturally moisturizes itself, it naturally keeps your scalp healthy. I am convinced the only reason there is dandruff is because shampoos put 1 gazillion chemicals on your head. The smell thing is why I rinse my hair every day. Just under water in the shower. Thats it. Havent used any other product on my head now for over 6 months and my hair is five times as shiny and soft!! I literally dont use any shampoo or conditioner and my hair looks better than it ever has, thats one hell of a revelation for me and Im happy every day I think about it. The cost savings for one, and the healthier hair for two.

Pro Naturals which is a hair repair system since December 2014 but I use it alongside Australian Tea Tree Shampoo & Conditioner work well for me.

What does not work for me is Herbal Essence. Don't know why but when hair drying my hair using a bristle brush to curl my hair under it just looked as if someone put an electric charge to my hair. Since starting using Pro Naturals I did try going back to Herbal Essence but I had the same reaction so I've decided to stay away from it.

I have, for 30 years, never used anything but Zote for shave/shower/shampoo. About a dollar for a one-pound bar, in the Laundry soap section in any store with a Mexican clienele, including WalMart and dollar stores. LIRIO is a similar brand. They shouldn't be hard to find, they are now labeled in English for export.
I posted earlier about using Zote after I read this post...my husband is now using it for shampoo and
shower as well, he's pleased with how clean his hair and scalp feel (we both have oily hair/skin) and
I am still using it, every day now.
