Does anyone use this conditioner? I have African American type of hair texture and I usually use products specifically for my hair type but I tried the V05 conditioner for split ends and its actually pretty good ...made my hair super soft.

I switch shampoos a lot but I do use VO5 on and off. I like the conditioner because it contains no silicones. I have used the coconut and strawberry scented moisturizing conditioner and the extra body conditioner (along with the complimentary shampoos) and like them a lot actually. Inexpensive and great if you like trying new scents. I use the expensive brands now and then as well. They all work the same for me, unless there are silicones in the conditioner, then it dries my hair so I avoid that. I have caucasian hair but I have read that people with African American hair should avoid silicones for the same reason.

Eh, I've used it before, but I don't like it. It made my hair feel really gross after a while for some odd reason...

If I'm going for cheaper conditioners, I love Sauve's Keratin and Moroccan Infusion lines. ( + The fragrances aren't "fruity" either. )

There are so many products on the market and such a wide range of pricing. Doesn't it feel great to find a product that works for you and is also affordable?

I also use VO5 and like the results.

Ah, Alberto V05...I haven't used that since the 80s (or maybe early 90s). I wouldn't use it nowadays. I'd try organic coconut oil first, if any oil.

Use it occasionally. The smell reminds me of the 70's.

I use a half of a half small dot on wet hair..
The shine is gorgeous!

We're talking about the conditioner right- not the hot oil treatment?

I personally don't think this product is anything that wonderful. I actually prefer Pantene ... but use a lot of different bands too.

Agree ... I've been using it for years. The secret is not to use too much -- I use it on my hair after blow drying.
