Years ago, one of the hotels in Las Vegas had shampoos and conditioners in the bathrooms that smelled like the ocean. They were pretty too.

That was probably quite trendy back then, but does anybody know of a brand that still makes ocean-scented shampoos?

The ocean does not have one smell. It depends on where and when.

I love some of the supposed scents: "Smells of wind, ice and freedom!"

Translation, we came up with a mix of perfumes we like but we have no idea what it smells like.

I guess, asking what does the ocean smell like is like asking *what does chocolate tastes like ...* !

OMG, where do you all go to the beach?? I grew up on the California coast and in Hawaii, and I don't know of any beaches that smell "fishy".

I'm thinking you all are probably too young to remember the sea scent trend, when beachy wave hair first became popular. Everybody was using salt sprays, etc. It was in the early '00s, I think.
