In the salon twice a year for a couple decades now. Not so hard to keep up with blond.

Same for me. My natural color was very dark brown/black. (Native American ancestry). I started going gray in about 5th grade. Just a gray here and there...but that's when it started. By the time I was 19, I was coloring on the regular. I can't even estimate how often I colored my hair.

I've been a brunette, a red head, violet, and burgundy.

In April, it will have been 2 years since I colored my hair. My hair is white/silver now, and I think it looks awesome.

Hi,

Personally I love dyeing my hair and right now I don't use dye but would love to do that some time again! I had gone for blonde streaks about two years ago and loved them! Although it damages the hair a little it makes you look fabulous!

I dyed my hair every couple of months for about 4 years in college, took a break for about 10 years, then dyed it every couple of months for years. I've had highlights/lowlights, blonde, brown, and auburn.

I quit dying my hair almost 2 years ago. I'm embracing the gray (naturally, I'm a strawberry blonde and about 50% gray) and love my natural color. It is so flattering and I love the time and money I'm saving. I also had no idea how much damage dye was doing to my hair until I completely stopped. Now, my texture is amazing. I had no idea my hair was so naturally curly.
