Shampoo, conditioner or both? You decide, and give reasons.

I don't think you need a reason to want/need both. Shampoo cleans and conditioner makes it soft since you just took all the oils away from the cleaning.

The reason for not wanting both is the additional time application of both takes. Combined shampoos and conditioners are hard to find at a reasonable cost.

Both. Clean scalp is a must have. Manageable hair is a must have.

I have fine limp hair and hadn’t used conditioner in years. I’ve found an awesome shampoo and conditioner that I use now. My hair has transformed to “good” hair in the last year.

Just shampoo. It makes no sense to me to put conditioner in my hair to make it soft and then two minutes later, put gel in my hair to make it hard.

Some of my shampoos come with conditioner in them, so I use conditioner without particularly wanting too. Some "Shampoos" are three in one - Shampoo, conditioner and Body wash. When I use those I am using conditioner and body wash in my hair - not really sure which comes first. Does it body wash my hair, then shampoo it then condition it? Condition, shampoo, body wash? How does it work? I don't really care. Just want to clean my hair and maybe make it smell good for a few minutes (until I put stinky gel in it).

I don't use conditioner. I have oily scalp, and a conditioner makes it look like I haven't washed my hair at all.
