Wana hear something funny......... if you put my moms senior pic and MY senior pic next to each other we look almost identical. And it wasn't even on purpose.

I had my hair parted in the middle and straight..... as did she back in 1970 something.

It's HILARIOUS! We didn't even realize it until my mom was flipping through her old pics one day and she came across her senior pic and looked up at the fireplace mantel where mine was! (I graduated in 2001)........ it's scary....... some trends DON'T pass through the years!

That would be a nice photo set to scan and digitally combine as a gift to your mom in a frame. For an upcoming mothers day. (may)

I disagree, I think a person's hair should complement their face and body shape, not match it. That way they balance each other out. For example I happen to have super-fine, flat-as-a-board hair but the long & straight style looks terrible on me! Because I am tall and thin, having long straight hair accentuates my height and makes me look like a starving waif. I need lots of body and curls bring me to life. Also all of my friends with curves look fantastic with long straight hair, it's actually slimming on them.

Long stick-straight hair has been in style for awhile now, I think it will the "the look" of the 2000's the way permed hair was for the 80's.
