Relief is on the way. A cold front should pass through tuesday night giving us highs in the low 80's/ upper 70's for wed. thu. and fri. before returning to seasonably normal temps (mid 80's) for the weekend!!

I just feel sorry for those older people who can't afford to pay their electric bill or have no AC units. There are a lot of older people in this city I hope they are being properly cared for.

My AC has been running nonstop and I can't get past 78 inside. I had maintenance check on it and they said it is normal for the AC to run nonstop and to not drop the inside temps down to 70 like I would like it when it feels like 109 outside. This reminds me of Arizona! Has anyone tried frying an egg on the sidewalk?
