I am going to be going to Hampton University and I need a nice, newer, apartment that I feel comfortable living in by myself for the next three years any advise on where to go? Close to campus will be a plus since I am new to the area!

Peninsula Town Center in Midtown Hampton or Falcon Creek in NW Hampton. What is your budget?

I'm also going to Hampton in the fall. I dont want to live on campus, but yet I want to be close to school so I dont have to rely on my car so much. I've heard about Hampton Harbors, but its been mixed reviews. Anyone have any other suggestions of apartments close to Hampton U.?

I would not reccomend living in the harbors unless you want to live close to campus and dont have a car. The Harbors is known for loud parties. I went to Hampton U and when I was there i stayed in New Hampton Commons, its not that far from HU. What is your budget? What type of apartment are you looking for?

Default New Apartments

When I went to HU, I stayed at the Heritage at Settlers Landing. Its like 2 blocks away. They had just built it when I was goin into my senior year there, so I liked the fact that it was brand new, I had a washer/dryer IN my apartment, and it was so close to school. I dont recommend the Harbors either for the same reasons everyone else says lol. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice I guess I'll cross the Harbors off my list. Heritage @ Settlers Landing looks nice but its sort of expensive for my budget. New Hamptons Commons looks nice & its a reasonable price too. I think I'll drive down to Hampton next week & do some apartment hunting
