THE WORD IS OUT!!! According to an article by Sherman Travel posted on YAHOO Travel, Sandbridge Beach is now ranked as one of the TOP 10 Secluded Beaches in the U.S.A.

To read the entire article, go to: http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-35060646 .

For great accommodations at Sandbridge, consider using Siebert Realty. They've been in business since 1962 and manage over 400 quality vacation beach home & condo rentals. 2 - 13 bedrooms / sleeping 6 - 30 people. Perfect for family reunions! http://www.siebert-realty.com

I live here and consider Sandbridge our own little slice of heaven. It's such a tranquil, unspoiled beach. And all the wildlife is amazing! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all.

You will find the same. The market store on the corner, the shops down the road towards the pier. That's the thing I like about it. Stop by Margie & Ray's for lunch!

Excellent sunset! We see it just about every weekend when we go to our trailer.

I ate at Margie and Ray's last Sunday. I am at Sandbridge just about every weekend...and I'll be there tomorrow. I hope it stays a secret.

Not going to be 'secluded' if they keep building all those ugly eyesore condos! We do not need another oceanfront or marinas, or condos! They've already ruined some of the beauty of Sandbridge because of the ones already built there! Anyone that knows what it was like BEFORE knows it too! I miss the quaint little mini golf place that was there before they built over it with those horrible monstrous size condos, and then there's those ugly pastel painted ones right before the fishing pier that ruined the view completely! The greed mongers are killing it! Those of us who truly love Sandbridge do not want, nor need any more condos! Nor do we want a MARINA either! Only beach houses!, and leave the rest alone for it is a sanctuary and home to the wildlife that lives there! When is the greed going to stop destroying nature? When are people going to speak up against these atrocities!? When we have nothing left to save and preserve? Why can we not just be content to mesh with and live among nature without stealing and destroying every single inch of it? This is the only beach area left in Virginia beach that still has somehow retained its' beauty and now is losing it to GREED! How awful that this is happening. Just awful.
