Any fun clubs in the area for a single 26 yr old white male? I love dancing and meeting new people. I have a possible job offer out there so I was just wondering if I would take it up if I would be able to go out and have fun. Sacramento has quite a few so I'm conflicted even though I'm unemployed out here atm.

I hate to break this to you, but Hampton Roads is probably one of the worst areas in the country for a single male. The ratios are god awful here. There are bars and clubs, but expect slim pickens when it comes to women. I wouldn't let that sway you from moving here if you have a job though.

Va Beach: younger crowd, mid sized club: Peabodys
25+ Hot Tuna on Wed or for live music go on Fri or Sat
for bars, "the block" which is 20-21st street...they aren't clubs but have DJs and people dance

I'm local and prefer laid back beach clubs, but if you want more upscale, then clubs on Granby Street in Norfolk like Time or Guadalajaras (ms?)....there's one at Town Center in middle VB as well

Hope that helps
