Default Granby Street

No it's not like that. Most people work on Granby and don't go home, almost everyone resturant on Granby, turns into a club or lounge at night. You can see that when strobelights and such still lingering around when you go into these places for lunch. As far as the previous posting regarding the new club, heres my view on that. Almost all new clubs at the oceanfront were usually closed down due to someone acting a fool and have reopened under another name. If they are having issues with thier liquor license then, that is exactly what happened and the city now has to think twice about issuing a license. If you go to a spot like that, park somewhere and watch who is going in, then you decide if you want to go in or not. I usually wait a 6 months to walk into a new club. Back to Granby...The average cover is about $5 to $20 depending on whats going on. You can't really do jeans and sneakers but go casual, remember the suits party all day and nigh after work don't let them scare you off. Waterside mall is 2 blocks off Grandy headed towards the Ferry. Waterside has Jillians which does charge a cover sometimes, Joes Crabshack, Blackfinn and some other spots. I mainly just go to Jillians, get my drink and eat on, and try to beat everyone in vidoe games at the arcade. It's nice. Have fun
