I am in an utter bind...my family wants us to move to Chicago, my husbands family wants us to move to Virgina...Which should we do? We are both waiters with 5 small dogs coming from San Antonio...any reccomendations?

Both are pricey so I guess it comes down to warm or cold? Also which family is going to be able to help you the most?

That's a hard question for anyone to answer. If weather is a big deal, I would say start with Virginia since I imagine the weather in Hampton Roads is more similar to San Antonio than Chicago would be. But it really would come down to lifestyle. How do you currently live in San Antonio? And how do you want to live when you move? Are you city people, suburbanites, or country folk? Do you need the amenities a major metro like Chicago offers or can you live without some of them (although HR should have them too, but maybe not in excess)? Which sounds more appealing: Midwest or East Coast? Do you have kids? If not, do you plan on it, and in which area would you prefer to raise a family?

Just **** them off and go where you want to! Or pick a place in between. It's your lives, not your families. But if it were me, I'd go with Chicago because it's
a way cooler city. No pun intended.

If public schools and decent weather are important, Virginia Beach. If big city amenities are important, Chicago.
