I have a 14 yr old son who is a rising 9th grader. I have searched all over for summer camps or activities (besides 4-H style camps) for him, and I can't seem to find anything. I have checked the community centers and the William and Mary Enrichment program - all the offerings seem to cut off at 8th grade or age 13, and then start again at age 16! I thought that maybe there was a history camp at CW, but I can't seem to find any information on it.

Can anyone suggest some good summer activities for a 14 yr old boy in the Williamsburg/Newport News area? Sports camps, academic/history camps, day camps, and overnight camps would all be great. Thank you in advance!

The VA Pilot puts out a summer camp guide. It's on their website.
