Tonight, April 24, 2011, inquiring minds finally will discover what Ty Pennington and the rest of the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" crew did inside the new house they built for a Virginia Beach family.

The hit ABC show remade the home of Beverly Hill; her husband, Fred Burdette; and their six daughters.

The program trucked into the area the first week of February. Through frigid temps and occasional rain, workers and volunteers razed the family's one-story ranch house of roughly 1,500 square feet and replaced it with a two-story, five-bedroom, 31/2-bath, contemporary design of about 4,000 square feet.

The family has not been allowed to reveal any details about the home's interior until after the show airs.

Hill recently sat on her new porch feeding ducks and offered one detail.

"It's better now that the girls have more room," she said.

The original house had only one working bathroom.

Rose and Womble Realty will host an outdoor public viewing party from 7 to 9 p.m tonight at the Rotunda in Norfolk.
