That's dismal! VA Beach HOUSEHOLD income, $63,370?! Assuming 2 people in the household are working, that's only $31,685 per person. That's peanuts!

I wish I could earn some of those "peanuts" . I have been looking for work since we came here last year, and written dozen of applications. For "normal" jobs I would like to work in, as retail and the like, I am over educated, and for my college degree, there is no demand around here. Leaves only self employment.

Political science and modern history. Maximum that I can find with it here is substitute teaching, but they have trouble to accept my degrees from a German University so I am waiting on the people who get paid to transfer my papers into something that will translate my grades into the system used here.
