Does anyone have a whole house water filter? What do you think about it? Regret the purchase? Who installed/maintains your system?

Our house has a whole house water filter and a drinking water (reverse osmosis) filter at the kitchen sink the previous owner had installed. It's been time to swap the "innards" of our filter. Pure Water Svcs installed the system. Anyone use this company? Trying to get a feel for them or find the best company.

Thanks

Water systems are water systems they all take the same size filter cartridge. The owner(you) just has to decide on what size micron filter fits your individual needs. Your best bet is just pick up the replacement cartridges at one of the local hardware stores. It will take you less then a minute to change out the filters. If you don't have the proper filter wench you can pick on up at the hardware store for around 2-3 bucks

Be aware that some system are generic and others are proprietary and need specific replacements. Do you have a make/model of your system?

It may also make a difference if you are on city water or well water.
