Son (in military)/daughter-in-law looking to rent house near NAS Oceana base by July 31st; trying to help them out, but I've exhausted all online sites I can think of - all I can find is condos/apt. (they live in 2 bdrm apt. now, but really want to try living in a house before plunging into buying one).
They're looking for 2 bdrm (preferably 2 baths), laundry room or stackable washer/dryer, 1-2 car garage and pet-friendly (have a cat). If anyone knows of any other sites I can check out besides 'rent.com', 'renthouseplus.com', 'trulia.com', 'apartmentguide.com' (you get the picture) or if you have a house for rent, let me know (budget: $1,000-1200, utilities included if possible)...

You might try this website too. I think it's listings are more for military persons. It's description reads "Military homes for sale or rent near US Military bases".

find the # for Thalia apartments. They are very nice, I landed there in 1972, at that time 2 bd, 2 bath, w/d, and den for $240.00
