Just got back from the Virginia Destroyers home opener, lots of fun! Had about 12,000 fans in attendance despite the rain. The team looks really good, they won easily. Can't wait for the next game.

It's great to hear they won. I hope this team thrives at the Sportsplex which really needs a permanent venue.

Sorry, I should have said the Sportsplex needs a permanent team to play there.

The fans seemed really into it, I think this team has a good chance to succeed. Considering the Oceana air show was also today and the bad weather, I was really surprised that the place was almost full and there were a lot of tailgaters too. I bet the next one sells out.
