Hi,

I just got an offer to work for Northrop Grumman in the Newport News, VA area. I am originally from Sinking Spring, PA (Berks County) and I am looking for apartments. Currently I am looking all around the Hampton Roads location but I am not familiar with what area is bad, good, okay, etc. Can anyone help or suggestion apartment complex names? or areas?

I was looking around the virginia beach area, commute will be long, but the beach area sounds nice; however, I can't find any nice apartments? The complex apartments seem okay but nothing luxury. What am I missing? Is there another area where you can actually find nice apartments, etc?

One I found was named: Bell Great Bridge in Chesapeake, VA the other one I found was Studio 56 loft but they are apartments for sale not for rent.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Linda

If I were you I'd live in Suffolk. The drive with rush hour traffic from VAB is BAD!!!!!

If you like the beach, maybe somewhere around Buckroe? If I were at NN all the time, I'd prolly live in Williamsburg. Nice area, easy commute.
