Im looking for haunted places in Williamsburg. I've been reading about this Hangman's Road.

The Haunted Places Of Colonial Williamsburg

Hangman’s Road is a road that sets just off from Colonial Road, outside of the area of main Colonial Williamsburg. History has it that after the infamous pirate, Blackbeard, was beheaded, quite a few of his pirate ensemble still existed. In the year of 1719, approximately fourteen were hung along this road. Today, there are several accounts of unusual sounds that cannot be explained. The most common sounds resemble that of an old wooden wagon traveling down the street. In addition to this, it is not uncommon for someone to reflect on sounds that feel close, yet sound distant. These sounds are “eerie” according to witnesses.

Anyone with information on where this is? Ive lived here for almost 3 years and never heard of such a place.

What I feel is haunted, from personal experiences, whenever I would walk around these places, a few times a week for many years, I felt "something" not sure what to call it, something "soulful"...not sure if that is the correct word here.

Yorktown, the historic town, not the commercial areas...the streets at night esp.
Williamsburg, again, esp at night, the historic area...

These areas have produced a sense of something "haunted" to me like any other place I been, and I travel alot

You see what you expect to see. Been to Williamsburg so many times, but never anything remotely haunted. walked around Yorktown for the 100th time today, didn't feel haunted. There are such things as spirits, but most of the time you go looking for them, it's not the nice ones you'll find. If you go looking for goodness, it won't lead you to find haunted locations or ghosts. When I was young, I dabbled with some spiritual things with an antagonism toward God. What I experienced sent me running in the opposite direction. I would certainly recommend against looking for ghosts because you're opening up a door for evil to come in disguise.

I went over to the Eastern State Hospital Cemetery at night time last week. Took my camera. Took a few shots (and boy was it creepy!), a cop even stopped by to tell me I was trespassing (I wasn't aware of it)

Anyways, I get back to the house and am looking over my pictures and I did capture an orb in one of those pictures. Not sure what to make of it, to some it may be dust, to some it may be a bug... to me it was a SPIRIT!

Also interesting that it was only in one of the photos, so it wasn't something stuck on the lens.
