We wanted to get our tree from a traditional style lot. Typically Home Depot has good trees but we wanted the "experience" a bit more for the kids this year. Last year we did McDonald's nursery and felt they were overpriced. Any suggestions on a nice lot with fair prices? We live in the Pembroke area. Thanks!

Im not in the area any longer but there was a church (Methodist?) on VB Blvd just before Lynnhaven Pkwy that sold trees for years. Maybe others might chime in.

We usually check the church lots, there are two retailers at the Farmer's Market at Dam Neck and Princess Anne, and we have had too luck with the people who usually set up near the water tower in Chesapeake at Battlefield and Kempsville Road. We've gotten some huge trees there in the past. Haven't started looking this year yet though.
