My wife and I are moving to Norfolk shortly. We are looking at renting a house on Versailles Ave in Norfolk.

Does anyone have any neighborhood information. We went and looked at the house and the neighborhood seemed OK to me, but I would appreciate some input from some residents.

Thanks

Depends on which areas you're looking at.

North Carolina and Massachusetts boards are patrolled by hungry, data-blasting RE agents.

Hey, I'm a hungry data blasting agent, LOL!! I would be happy to try to help you. It is over near Winona, Lafayette Annex, and that is a pretty neat area. As for crime statistics, of course norfolks crime statistics are higher than than the suburbs. I have sold homes in Winona and in that area. i really like and I would live there. But, like anywhere you have to be careful. Lock your doors. Use basic measures.

The Virginia Pilot has been doing a really neat series on Crime and where and what kind. If you go to their website, you can probably pull it from the archives and get some good information.
